UZH Postdoc Grant
Through funding from the UZH Candoc/Postdoc Grants, the University of Zurich supports its junior scholars at the doctoral level (Candoc) and the postdoctoral level (Postdoc). As expected, nearly 8 million CHF can be allocated to approved projects in the year 2023.
Qualified postdoctoral students embarking on an academic career receive UZH Postdoc Grant funding to support them in carrying out a research project at the UZH. Primarily salary funds are granted in order to provide researchers with protected research time for their project.
Who can submit an application?
Postdocs and habilitation candidates (until conferral of habilitation) who are either employed by or plan a research project at the UZH.
Not eligible for funding are assistant professors, externally funded assistant professors, associate professors, and full professors.

- The salary of a co-worker (for example, a PhD student)
- Materials (on a limited scale)
