The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is funding 6 interdisciplinary, collaborative projects at the University of Zurich in 2023, totaling over 10 million Swiss francs.
With the Sinergia program, the SNSF promotes collaboration between two to four applicants who are conducting interdisciplinary research with the prospect of groundbreaking findings. In the 2023 call, five projects affiliated with UZH have been awarded funding.
For example, the research initiative Functional heterogeneity in primary aldosteronism at single-cell level by David Penton Ribas, Prof. Felix Beuschlein and Prof. Mark Robinson will be funded for the next three years with over one million francs. Their aim is to investigate the cellular heterogeneity of primary hyperaldosteronism using novel techniques from the e-phac technology platform.
