New Guidelines on Authorship of Academic Publications
The UZH recently introduced new guidelines on authorship of academic publications, thereby strengthening the standards of good scientific practice.

The guidelines on authorship were commissioned by the Office of the Vice President Research. Claudine Leysinger, Head of the Graduate Campus, led the project. Martin Hanselmann, Head of the Scientific Integrity Office; Andrea Malits, Head of Open Science Services at the University Library; and Monika Zwicky, Professor of Genetics and academic integrity officer in cases of suspected scientific misconduct, were also involved. Following consultation with the faculties, the guidelines were adopted by the University Executive Board in April 2025.
