SNSF AMBIZIONE 2024: 13 projects at UZH
The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is funding 13 projects by early career researchers at the University of Zurich with an AMBIZIONE grant.

With Ambizione, the SNSF has been funding promising early career researchers from Switzerland and abroad since 2008. In the 2024 call, 13 UZH researchers convinced the evaluation committees with their applications. Of the funded projects, seven are based at the Faculty of Sciences, two each at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine, and one each at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics and the Faculty of Law.
Following a two-stage evaluation, the SNSF has now awarded a total of 92 grants. The average duration of the projects is four years and the average grant amount is CHF 820,000.
