The UZH 3R Award is intended to highlight the efforts and successes of UZH members in the field of 3R within and outside UZH and thus promote the 3R principles at UZH.
This year, the UZH 3R Award once again goes to two UZH teams. Petra Seebeck and her team at the ZIRP receive an award for their initiative to optimise surgical procedures on experimental rodents, which aims to improve animal welfare and scientific outcomes. Benjamin Ineichen and his STRIDE Lab receive the prize for promoting systematic literature research to optimise the choice of methods, improve translation and reduce the number of animals used in animal experiments.
