Promoting diversity in research and teaching at UZH!
In this spirit, the SWF supports scientific research and teaching across all faculties and disciplines. All active professors and private lecturers at the University of Zurich are eligible to apply.
Funding contributions can be used in various ways, especially for project-related costs in research and the academic development of teaching (see also theCall Guidelines SWF (PDF, 306 KB)):
- Investigations, experiments, measurements
- Source preservation and editions, archive and library studies
- Publications
- Acquisition of equipment, instruments, scientific tools
- Materials
- Data and specialist literature
Current call for proposals
All professors and private lecturers at the University of Zurich are invited to submit applications for funding to support research and teaching.
Please refer to the detailed requirements in the guidelines for submision (PDF, 636 KB) (in German).
Successful applicants from the 2024 call may only reapply in the 2026 call, and final reports for completed SWF-funded projects must have been submitted.
