The Foundation for Research in Science and the Humanities at the University of Zurich is committed to promoting scholarly work and excellence in research and teaching in all faculties and subject areas.
Grants for scientific research projects may be used in particular for studies, experiments, measurements, surveys, source preservation and editions, archive and library studies, publications, and the acquisition of apparatus, instruments, scientific utilities, materials, data and literature for such research.
Grants for teaching projects can be used in particular for the scientific development of teaching (acquisition of scientific utilities, materials, etc.).
According to the foundation's regulations only professors and Privatdozierende of the University of Zurich are eligible to apply.
Professors and Privatdozierende of the University of Zurich are invited to submit their applications for the funding of research projects and research-based teaching.
