Unitectra/EU GrantsAccess/Wyss/DSI

The Vice-President Research is responsible for a number of organizational units, which have their own legal form and are co-financed by the university. These organizations are of importance to the whole university and provide important services for research.

Unitectra is the technology transfer organization of the Universities of Basel, Bern and Zurich. Its services support researchers in cooperating with the private sector and other private or public institutions. In close cooperation with researchers, Unitectra takes care of the practical translation of research results into new products and services. The implementation is carried out in cooperation with existing companies or by supporting the creation of university spin-off companies.
