Event: Una Europa Infosession «Funding for Postdocs in Germany, Finland and Switzerland»

Session 1: Finland, Germany, and Switzerland

  • Are you a postdoctoral researcher, a young faculty member, or a Ph.D. candidate in the final phase of your doctoral project?

  • Are you curious to explore the available funding opportunities for early-career researchers within the Una Europa member countries?

  • Do you wish to gain insight into the general conditions for early-career researchers at partner universities within Una Europa?

If so, Una Europa* warmly invites you to attend the first information session, 'Funding for Postdoctoral Researchers within the Una Europa Alliance'. During this session, research managers from the University of Helsinki, Freie Universität Berlin, and the University of Zurich will provide brief introductions to their respective institutions and offer an overview of national research funding opportunities in Finland, Germany, and Switzerland.

When: November 30, 2023, 2.00-3.00 (CET)

The information session offers an overview of the available funding formats for early-career researchers in Finland, Germany, and Switzerland. It will cover their eligibility criteria, funding duration, conditions, and specific details. Additionally, the session will provide insights into the general standing of early- career researchers at the participating universities.

The session is open for members of Una Europa* Universities and is free of charge.

 

* Una Europa is a European higher education alliance of leading research universities in eleven countries. The University of Zurich has been a partner university since 2022.
