Animal Welfare and 3R

Through exemplary animal husbandry, appropriate training of the people involved, careful experimental planning and use of all possibilities, the University of Zurich aims to take into account the reduction of animal suffering, animal welfare and the 3R Principles. The Department of Animal Welfare and 3R supports the University of Zurich in its pursuit of this goal by providing advice, training and controls.
